How IceRiver firmware archives are named on ice-river.tools, why exact model matching matters, and what to verify before flashing.

IceRiver publishes firmware as ZIP archives named iceriver_<model>_firmware.zip on the official tools host. The segment <model> maps to the internal slug (for example ks3m or ks0_pro) - always match it to the model string printed in the miner web UI.

We recommend downloading only from ice-river.tools or ICERIVER's official firmware portal. Third-party mirrors may serve outdated or repackaged files.

After download, verify size and checksum when ICERIVER publishes them. Keep pool and wallet backups before running upgrades on production fleets.
